Managing Time

As previously indicated, the time needed to design a garment will depend on the level of service you need. The ordering process takes anywhere from 6-18 weeks. Refer to ‘Scheduling’ link for more information. These time frames do not include the time it takes to confirm your design!

Determining the design is often the most challenging and time consuming process.

You can expect to receive illustrated design ideas from The Line Up within 1-2 weeks from our receipt of your ideas, illustrations, pictures, color preferences budget and time frame. However, if you are uncertain and change your mind during the design process, it is like ‘starting all over’. Expect the process to take longer and cost substantially more.

When teams are not clear about their ideas and needs, it is not unusual to see them struggle through the design process for months. They are finally forced to make decision due to time constraints.

As previously indicated, the most important part of managing time in the design process is coming prepared with specific ideas.
